A heartfelt and humorous story, beautifully illustrated, about change, growing up and starting school.
Told from the perspective of Louis the Childminder's dog who embarks on an adventure to find the children when they leave for school.
First he tries the disguise of a teacher, then a student, and finally a dinner lady but he is caught out each time and the little boy he has gone to see called Dan Dan, recognises him and sticks up for him when he is sent to the head teachers office.
The childminder is called in to fetch him, realising that he is missing the children and explains to Louis that he will of course see the children again. Satisfied by this, Louis leaves happily with Ninny.
A book to comfort and reassure little ones as they embark on their first big transition.
